Healing Artist. Teacher. Writer. Photographer. Beandrea has been practicing her intuitive gifts since she was a child growing up in Dayton, Ohio. Knowing that we are always doing the best we can with the information we have, her joyful, gentle approach helps create a world where people act with intention and awareness.
Beandrea earned her yoga teaching certificate at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachussetts in 2005. Since then she has taught classes and workshops in this compassionate style of hatha yoga for people of all ages, shapes, and backgrounds in daycares, retreat centers, living rooms, and yoga studios across the United States. She has specialized training in Chakra Yoga and Prenatal Yoga and is also a dedicated practitioner of vipassana (insight) meditation. The memory of watching 50 girl scouts from West Philadelphia rest in relaxation pose at a sleepover still makes her smile.
For the past two summers she has traveled to Paris, sat in cafés, and worked on the forthcoming memoir Good Enough for God. In 2006, she relocated from Philadelphia to Oakland to launch Joyfully Bea.
